The spacious, beautifully appointed Tuscan-style apartment we occupied came complete with a good terrace offering stunning views of the rolling hills, and I found myself reflecting on life with a glass of their exquisite wine, pressed from grapes visible right outside my window. Each morning greeted us with a pleasant continental breakfast, allowing us to fuel our adventures exploring nearby cities like Florence and Lucca, while the outdoor pool provided a soothing respite after our excursions. The warmth of our host was palpable, enhanced by the charm of Agata, the resident dog, who brought smiles to my solitary moments, reminding me of the joy in shared experiences, even when traveling alone.
